Do I need to backup Exchange online?

To fully protect your Exchange online and Microsoft 365 data you need to have a backup solution in place. When you backup Exchange online, it is your insurance against unforeseen circumstances including accidental deletion, internal and external threats. Without an Exchange online backup, your data could be unrecoverable.

Can I backup my local exchange server?

No, this solution backs up Exchange Online, OneDrive, Teams and SharePoint online, along with Microsoft 365 configurations.

Can I backup shared mailboxes?

Yes, shared mailboxes can be protected as we license per user, not per mailbox. Please note that the CloudCover 365 service cannot be used solely for backup up shared mailboxes, they are to be included as part of a subscription.
